Paul Streather is 22 years old and is the son of ex Alfa Romeo champion Dave Streather. Paul started his career in Junior TKM (go karting) progressing to Senior Rotax and won the BP Ultimate Karter in 2009 from 18000 entrants. In his novice car racing season 2010, Paul ran in the MGCC MG Trophy Championship in Class C in a MG ZR 160. Paul won his class and entire championship by 27 points and after dropped rounds was still 10 points clear, to become MGCC MG Trophy Champion 2010.

Paul won 12 out of 12 races and at the 6 circuits he raced at he broke all 6 lap records.
At the end of season presentation evening, Paul picked up the Championship Trophy, Best Novice Driver, Photographers Award and also the Driver’s Driver of the Year Award.

Paul entered the same championship as 2010 for the 2011 season but Class B in a MG ZR190 with numerous wins and podiums throughout the season kept him in the title chase until a disasterous round at Donnington Park left him 3rd in class. Paul finished the season in this position and also won Best Presented Car award at the presentation evening.

Paul has re-entered the same championship in the same class B as last year and aims to repeat the performance of last two years and, putting together everything he has learned to contend for the championship title once again.

Paul has proved to be a raw talent that the commentators, spectators and fellow competitors cannot get enough of.

The rounds for the 2012 season are:

Donnington Park (Double Header)
Brands Hatch (Triple Header)
Silverstone (Double Header)
Oulton Park (Double Header)
